Five pound bags of beef fat for rendering into tallow, adding to lean ground meat, or even used for bird feed. The kidney fat comes from a specific place and has a lower melting point than the regular fat. If adding to ground beef, we recommend the regular fat. If rendering for tallow, we recommend the kidney fat. However, both can be rendered into tallow for similar results!
